Your Backyard
Sometimes the best place for a Lux Picnix is in your own backyard! You will have access to all the creature comforts at your own abode. The only thing we ask is that your yard be free of pet waste.

The Beach
The SouthCoast has many beautiful beaches for a Lux Picnix; a few of our favorites are Silver Shell beach in Marion, West Beach in New Bedford, Fort Phoenix, and Pope Beach in Fairhaven. Just keep in mind that some beaches close their gates at dusk. Please do a site visit of your location in advance to ensure a good spot that is easily accessible.

Parks
Parks offer a beautiful borrowed landscape for the public's use. Call ahead to see if the park you are interested in has bathroom services on-site and if the park requires any special permits for your lux picnix. Some of our favorite parks are Fort Taber and Hazelwood Park in New Bedford and Monroe Park and Shipyard Park in Mattapoisett. Another suggestion that not many think of is Haskell Public Gardens in New Bedford.

Many of the towns in our area have Land Trusts that provide green spaces for the public to use from dawn to dusk. Just remember, whatever you bring into the woods, you have to bring back out. Take photos, leave only footprints.

Our Picnix set up must not be left unattended, if you decide to finish early, please give us a call and we will be happy to return and pack up for you.

Indoors
We can set up your Lux Picnix indoors as well! All we need is the dimensions of the space that you would like us to set up in and we will take care of the rest. If the space is not your own home, we request that you get permission or obtain any necessary permits.

Add-on Enhancements
How do I book a picnic?​
We accept requests for picnics between 2-24 people, with reservations made at least two weeks in advance of your desired event date. Your chosen location must be within 25 miles of zip code 02745. For locations outside our service area, an additional charge will apply.
What is setup and take-down like?
Our dedicated team will arrive one hour prior to your scheduled event time to set up your picnic oasis. We'll be back exactly 2 hours after the event time to efficiently pack up. If you wish to extend your picnic beyond the allotted 2 hours, a charge of $75 per additional hour will be incurred.
How much does it cost?
Our picnics start at $300 for two people, with an additional charge of $35 per person for groups of up to 24 people. Pricing will depend on how big your imagination is and how much time it will take to setup and take-down. Fill out our booking form and we will get back to you with a price quote.
Can I have my picnic in a remote location?
You have the flexibility to choose the time, location, and setting that suits your preferences. However, please ensure the location is easily accessible for our team to pull up, without stairs, hikes, or long trails.

What's not included?
Lux Picnix does not provide food. We recommend working with a local caterer of your choice to curate the perfect culinary experience for your picnic. Should you need suggestions, we can recommend a few trusted caterers in your area. For custom charcuterie we reccommend Savor the Spread in Marion, MA.
What's your cancellation policy?
Please contact us at least five days in advance to reschedule your event. Cancellations without a reschedule will result in a $100 service fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
